Myanmar Timber Elephant Project

PhD students Jennie and Carly at the primary school

December 8, 2016

What on earth do elephant scientists do? Kids in the International School of Turku had a special day in November when they got a glimpse to researcher’s world. The kids had a chance to study elephant’s parasites with PhD students Jennie Crawley and Carly Lynsdale who demonstrated some biological research and lab methods. Kids were happy to learn and were lucky to find some parasite eggs under the microscope too. Super exciting day for all!
